"My technique is inspired by nature and specially in the amber stone. The stone’s amber color is the foundational palette upon which I marry the rest of my colors, resulting in a golden, antique and translucent impression. Amber is substance formed by hardening of resin of trees, some of them 130 million years ago. During that process, air bubbles, water, dust, plants, animals and other living forms are trapped with it and preserve forever. It’s an appropriate symbol for one of my main creative intentions, to preserve an emotion in an instant of existence"

Painting accidents, a bold brush stroke with color accents floating in a harmonized atmosphere with diffused and incomplete contours, represents for me the ephemeral and transitional nature of our material existence, while allowing for meditation on the concept of eternity"
